Creating for me is organic and alive. It changes constantly with my experimenting brain. Somehow all these techniques I’ve learned over the years manage to spill out of me onto some sort of support and become something to share. I love the end product and seeing someone’s face light up when they see my art, but it’s equally about the process for me. It’s the bright ooze of the paint or the feel of a pencil in my hand. It’s being absorbed and in the flow of it all. It took me a long time to realize that I was born for this, to create, and, in turn to share the creative process with others so they too can be transformed by the making of art.
